Who We Are
The Bluebonnet Chapter of the former Southern Building Code of Congress International (SBCCI) was organized in 1985 for the purpose to provide a professional association for building inspection and code enforcement personnel in the Central Texas Region. In 2000, the Bluebonnet Chapter joined the International Code Council (ICC) organization.
We are a professional association and a forum for the exchange of ideas. It is our intent that the Chapter will ultimately promote uniformity in the application of codes and enhance the professionalism of the membership.

Mission: Through cultivating relationships and encouraging education, we will protect our communities by promoting safety in building construction, code enforcement, and training.

Objectives
The objectives of the Bluebonnet Chapter of the ICC are to:
- Ensure the SAFETY of people occupying and using buildings in the region
- Provide professional forum for mutual exchange of information among members interested in building safety and fire protection
- Provide professional training and assistance
- Perpetuate the objectives of the ICC
Composition
The Bluebonnet Chapter of the ICC is composed of code enforcement professionals and others interested in the building industry.
Affiliation
The Bluebonnet Chapter is a duly chartered chapter of the ICC.
Meetings
Meetings are being held monthly on the third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., at a place so designated. Officer appointments and award presentations are held during the Chapter sponsored Annual Meeting held in January.
Dues
Annual fees for membership in the Bluebonnet Chapter are $35.00 for professional members (employed by public or private entity for code enforcement) and $25.00 for associate members (general public).
